Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Drops Game to North Buffalo Knights 13U After Late Score
Spartans Youth Baseball 14U lost the lead late in a 9-8 defeat to North Buffalo Knights 13U on Monday. The game was tied at seven with North Buffalo Knights 13U batting in the bottom of the sixth when Joey Ward drew a walk, scoring one run.
David Schnaufer collected four hits in defeat. Schnaufer doubled in the first, doubled in the third, singled in the fifth, and singled in the seventh.
Spartans Youth Baseball 14U captured the lead in the second inning. Hayden Williams drove in one when Williams singled.
Max Langer earned the win for North Buffalo Knights 13U. The righty surrendered six runs on ten hits over four innings. Hamirez threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Hamirez recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for North Buffalo Knights 13U.
Jayden Bridge was on the pitcher's mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The bulldog allowed two hits and two runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one.
Spartans Youth Baseball 14U had 14 hits in the game. Schnaufer and Duke Snyder all managed multiple hits for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Schnaufer went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U in hits.
