Game 1:

Clarence Angels 14U Runs Away With Early Lead in Victory


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 16-4 loss to Clarence Angels 14U on Thursday. Clarence Angels 14U scored on a walk by Matthew Gill, a walk by Matthew Weber, and a single by Jace Brinkerhoff in the first inning.


The Spartans Youth Baseball 14U struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Clarence Angels 14U, giving up 16 runs.


Clarence Angels 14U scored five runs in the fourth inning. The big inning for Clarence Angels 14U came thanks to a triple by Nico Christopher, a single by Brinkerhoff, and a groundout by Weber.


Jake Hughes led things off on the hill for Clarence Angels 14U. The pitcher went four innings, allowing four runs on six hits and striking out six.


Jaxon DelPriore was on the pitcher's mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. DelPriore lasted one-third of an inning, allowing zero hits and three runs. David Schnaufer went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U in hits. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Schnaufer made the most plays with four.


Game 2:


Lancaster Devils 14U Captures Lead Early to Defeat Spartans Youth Baseball 14U


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 9-1 loss to Lancaster Devils 14U on Friday. Lancaster Devils 14U scored on a single by Steven Syracuse and a passed ball during Ryan Herberger's at bat in the second inning.


The Spartans Youth Baseball 14U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Lancaster Devils 14U, giving up nine runs.


In the second inning, Lancaster Devils 14U got their offense started when Syracuse singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.


Josh Kandefer led things off on the pitcher's mound for Lancaster Devils 14U. Kandefer allowed nine hits and one run over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.


Duke Snyder was on the mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Snyder went two and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out three and walking one. Austin Humphrey, David Schnaufer, and Hunter Tobolski each contributed in relief for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U totaled nine hits in the game. Tobolski and Hayden Williams each collected multiple hits for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Williams and Tobolski each managed two hits to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.


Game 3:


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Clings to Victory as Lancaster Knights 14U Nearly Erases 4-Run Deficit


Despite seeing its four-run lead whittled down by the end, Spartans Youth Baseball 14U still held off Lancaster Knights 14U for a 7-6 victory on Saturday. Lancaster Knights 14U scored four runs in the failed comeback. Gianni Pusateri, Matt Tulshi, Connor Guck, and Danny Ball each picked up RBIs.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U collected 16 hits and Lancaster Knights 14U had nine in the high-scoring affair.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U got on the board in the first inning when Jaxon DelPriore doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U put up three runs in the fifth inning. The offensive firepower by Spartans Youth Baseball 14U was led by Trey Newton and Jayden Bridge, who all drove in runs.


David Schnaufer got the start for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The righthander went three innings, allowing two runs on three hits and walking zero.

Game 4:


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Falls to WNY Muckdogs 13U on Walk-off


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U fell to WNY Muckdogs 13U 4-3 on Saturday on the final play of the game. The game was tied at three with WNY Muckdogs 13U batting in the bottom of the fifth when Cooper B tripled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U lost despite out-hitting WNY Muckdogs 13U six to four.


In the bottom of the fourth inning, WNY Muckdogs 13U tied things up at three. Tyler M drew a walk, scoring one run.


Kyle M led things off on the mound for WNY Muckdogs 13U. The righty allowed five hits and three runs over three innings, striking out five.


Jayden Bridge was on the mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The pitcher allowed two hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three. Duke Snyder and David Schnaufer entered the game as relief, throwing one inning and one-third of an inning respectively.


Hunter Tobolski, Bridge, Landon Pangrazio, Snyder, Jaxon DelPriore, and Ryan Schnaufer each collected one hit to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Schnaufer had the most chances in the field with five.


Game 5:


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Takes 7-3 Victory Over Dunkirk Travelers 14U


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scores more runs than Dunkirk Travelers 14U, takes victory on Sunday to the tune of 7-3


In the second inning, Spartans Youth Baseball 14U got their offense started. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored two runs when David Schnaufer doubled.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U put up three runs in the sixth inning. The rally was led by a single by Landon Pangrazio and a double by Schnaufer.


Duke Snyder was on the mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The ace allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out seven and walking zero.


Henry Leone was on the hill for Dunkirk Travelers 14U. The righty allowed six hits and three runs over four innings, striking out one. Gaberiel Valentine threw two innings out of the bullpen.

Four RBI Day for Duke Snyder Seals the Deal in Spartans Youth Baseball 14U's Victory Over NF FALCONS


Duke Snyder was clutch at the plate with runners on base on Sunday, driving in four on three hits to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U past NF FALCONS 14-1 on Sunday. Snyder drove in runs on a single in the first and a single in the third.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U fired up the offense in the first inning. Trey Newton drew a walk, scoring one run.


David Schnaufer was on the pitcher's mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. Schnaufer went four innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out eight.


Bobin toed the rubber for NF FALCONS. The hurler lasted two and a third innings, allowing 13 hits and 13 runs while striking out two. Kipp threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scattered 15 hits in the game. Snyder, Jayden Bridge, Hayden Williams, Austin Humphrey, and Jaxon DelPriore each had multiple hits for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.
