Game 1 :

Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat United travel baseball


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U snatched the lead late in the game in an 11-10 victory over United travel baseball on Friday. The game was tied at nine with Spartans Youth Baseball 14U batting in the top of the sixth when Jaxon DelPriore doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.


A five-run lead in the first inning was just enough for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U to hold off United travel baseball for the victory. United travel baseball managed eight runs in the failed comeback. Brock Bigisbi, Alexzander, Hundruzick, #13, Landon Santino, and Hundruzick each picked up RBIs.


United travel baseball took an early lead in the first inning. An error scored one run for United travel baseball.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U evened things up at nine in the top of the fourth inning when an error scored one run for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.


Trey Newton led the Spartans Youth Baseball 14U to victory on the hill. The fireballer surrendered seven runs on five hits over one inning, striking out one and walking one. David Schnaufer and Hunter Tobolski entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Schnaufer recorded the last eight outs to earn the save for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.


Kylen Ball took the loss for United travel baseball. The pitcher lasted two and a third innings, allowing three hits and seven runs while striking out one.

Game 2:

Three Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Pitchers Combine In Shutout Victory Against Lockport Storm 14u


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U defeated Lockport Storm 14u 10-0 on Saturday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout.


Austin Humphrey led Spartans Youth Baseball 14U to victory by driving in four runs. Humphrey went 2-for-3 at the plate. Humphrey drove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the third.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U got things started in the first inning when Humphrey hit a solo homer.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored three runs in the fifth inning. Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored its runs on a error by Humphrey.


One bright spot for Lockport Storm 14u was a single by Perry in the first inning.


Trey Newton got the win for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two. Hunter Tobolski and Humphrey entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Humphrey recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U.


Perry took the loss for Lockport Storm 14u. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs while striking out six.

Seven RBI Day for David Schnaufer Brings Victory for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U Over Tomahawks 14U


David Schnaufer was an RBI machine on Saturday, driving in seven on two hits to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 14U past Tomahawks 14U 12-1 on Saturday. Schnaufer drove in runs on a grand slam in the first, a double in the third, and a groundout in the fourth.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U opened up scoring in the first inning, when Schnaufer homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring four runs.


Spartans Youth Baseball 14U scored five runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to doubles by Schnaufer, Jayden Bridge, and Duke Snyder.


Austin Humphrey earned the win for Spartans Youth Baseball 14U. The hurler surrendered zero runs on two hits over two innings, striking out three and walking zero.
