Spartans Youth Baseball 11U Secure Win Against Chargers 11U

Spartans Youth Baseball 11U were victorious against Chargers 11U 11-7 on Wednesday.

Spartans Youth Baseball 11U opened the scoring in the first after an error scored one run.

Spartans Youth Baseball 11U captured the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fourth after Evan S balked, and Connor L singled, each scoring one run.

Spartans Youth Baseball 11U flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring six runs on two hits to take a 9-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Connor H on a 3-0 count that drove in two.

Connor stepped on the bump first for Spartans Youth Baseball 11U. They gave up two hits and two runs over three innings, striking out two and walking two. Adam B started the game for Chargers 11U. The starting pitcher gave up one hit and one run (zero earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking one. Chase T threw two innings of shutout ball for Spartans Youth Baseball 11U in relief. They gave up one hit, striking out two and walking none.
