Spartans Youth Baseball 10U wins contest against NY Stingers 10U on
Tuesday, 4-3
Spartans Youth Baseball 10U knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the first inning, when Connor L grounded out, scoring one run. Spartans Youth Baseball 10U pulled away for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Carter L doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Connor singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Owen W led the Spartans Youth Baseball 10U to victory on the mound. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing two hits and one run while striking out three and walking one. Lukey and Carter entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Carter recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U.
Carter led Spartans Youth Baseball 10U with two hits in three at bats.
