Spartans 10U Overcomes NT Americans In Face Of Early 3-Run Inning


NT Americans scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Spartans 10U still won 11-4 on Sunday. Spartans 10U secured the victory thanks to six runs in the third inning.

Carter L, Luke, Owen W, Robbie H, and Aiden D all drove in runs in the frame.

Spartans 10U opened up scoring in the first inning, when they scored on a stolen

base during Connor L's at bat. Then Connor singled, driving in one.


Spartans put up six runs in the third inning. Spartans big bats were led by Carter,

Luke, Owen, Robbie, and Aiden, who each had RBIs in the inning.


Carter was on the mound for Spartans. The fireballer allowed two hits and one run over five innings, striking out nine. #17 was on the hill for NT Americans. The

bulldog went two and two-thirds innings, allowing eight runs on 11 hits, striking out four and walking one. #7 threw two innings out of the bullpen.


Spartans 10U saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Carter, Owen, Connor, and Jackson L each collected multiple hits for Spartans. Carter went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Spartans in hits. Spartans was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Arlo had the most chances in the field with ten. Spartans stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Carter led the way with three.
