Game 1:


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U Can't Catch Up To Central Amherst 10U


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 10-4 loss to Central Amherst 10U on Friday. Central Amherst 10U took the lead on a walk in the first inning.


The Spartans Youth Baseball 10U struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Central Amherst 10U, giving up ten runs.


Central Amherst 10U got things moving in the first inning, when Ian P drew a walk, scoring one run.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U tallied four runs in the fourth inning. Connor L and Carter L all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.


Central Amherst 10U scored four runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Central Amherst 10U was led by Carter D and Alex P, all driving in runs in the inning.


Carter led things off on the hill for Central Amherst 10U. The fireballer allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out eight and walking zero.


Connor started the game for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. The bulldog went three innings, allowing six runs on two hits and striking out six. Carter threw three innings in relief.


Carter led Spartans Youth Baseball 10U with three hits in three at bats.


Game 2:


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U Holds Off Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U for Victory


Despite seeing its five-run lead whittled down by the end, Spartans Youth Baseball 10U still held off Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U for a 7-6 victory on Saturday. Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U put up five runs in the failed comeback. Landon H, Grayson L, and Landon picked up RBIs to lead the rally.


Bats blistered as Spartans Youth Baseball 10U collected 12 hits and Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U tallied five in the high-scoring game.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U fired up the offense in the first inning, when Arlo H doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.


In the bottom of the first inning, Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U tied things up at one when Jackson L induced JT C to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.


After Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scored one run in the top of the fourth, Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U answered with one of their own. Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scored when Carter L doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U then answered when Landon drew a walk, scoring one run.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U pulled away for good with four runs in the second inning. In the second Owen W singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run and Arlo singled on a 1-1 count, scoring three runs.


Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U scored three runs in the fifth inning. Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U scored its runs on a triple by Grayson.


Jackson led things off on the pitcher's mound for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. The bulldog surrendered one run on zero hits over two innings, striking out three.


Colton F was on the mound for Lancaster-Depew RedHawks 10U. The righthander lasted two innings, allowing six hits and five runs while striking out two. JT and Jordan E entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one inning respectively.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U tallied 12 hits. Arlo, Connor L, Carter, and Jackson each managed multiple hits for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. Arlo went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 10U in hits. Sammy S led Spartans Youth Baseball 10U with two stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with six stolen bases. Spartans Youth Baseball 10U didn't commit a single error in the field. Connor had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.


Game 3:


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U Can't Hold Up Against Aces 10U


Saturday was a long day for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U, falling to Aces 10U 11-4.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U opened up scoring in the first inning, when Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scored one run on a stolen base.


After Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scored one run in the top of the fourth, Aces 10U answered with one of their own. Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scored when Jackson L drew a walk, scoring one run. Aces 10U then answered when Gavin A grounded out, scoring one run.


Aces 10U took the lead for good with eight runs in the third inning. In the third Joe F hit a solo homer, Aiden F doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Gavin K drew a walk, scoring one run, Mason N drew a walk, scoring one run, Joe singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, and Caleb P singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs.


Carter L led things off on the hill for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. The pitcher went three innings, allowing ten runs on nine hits and striking out two. Connor L threw two innings in relief.


Arlo H led Spartans Youth Baseball 10U with two hits in two at bats. Spartans Youth Baseball 10U stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Carter led the way with four.


Game 4:


Bats Blistered As Spartans Youth Baseball 10U Falls to Fredonia Bandits 10U in High-Scoring Game


Both Fredonia Bandits 10U and Spartans Youth Baseball 10U had their offenses going on Sunday, but Spartans Youth Baseball 10U eventually succumbed 17-7 in the high-scoring affair.


The Spartans Youth Baseball 10U struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Fredonia Bandits 10U, giving up 17 runs.


Fredonia Bandits 10U got things moving in the first inning. Fredonia Bandits 10U scored one run when James O doubled.


Fredonia Bandits 10U took the lead for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Jack H drew a walk, scoring one run, Landen W drew a walk, scoring one run, Noah P singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, and Logan S doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.


Dominic K was on the hill for Fredonia Bandits 10U. The righty allowed four hits and six runs over one and one-third innings, striking out two.


Owen W led things off on the hill for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. The pitcher allowed three hits and five runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Carter L, Aiden D, and Luke W each contributed in relief for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U.


Spartans Youth Baseball 10U scattered eight hits in the game. Connor L, Robbie H, and Carter each had multiple hits for Spartans Youth Baseball 10U. Connor went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Spartans Youth Baseball 10U in hits.
